“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” – Audrey Hepburn
Last night I looked in the mirror feeling like something wasn’t right.
The same feeling I have each and every morning and especially when I’m lonely at night.
I think … maybe I need a makeover, lose some weight, a new wardrobe, maybe even a new man in my life.
If I get those things in order, everything will be all right.
I lay down for the night and finally closed my eyes,
I heard a voice say
… “Oh, My child, how can you have eyes to see yet be so blind?
It’s not a surface makeover you need; you must walk by faith and not by sight.
The makeover you seek is a place where only the Holy Spirit resides,
The weight you need to lose is your vanity and pride.
Humble yourself and cast your cares upon Me and break free of the ties that bind.
I have your purpose here waiting for you, but you must let your fears subside.
Upgrade to a new wardrobe of faith, hope, patience, humility and kindness for all of mankind.
You see, My daughter, a man is not what you need, because what you need only I can provide.
Delight in Me, and I will give you the desires of your heart, an abundance of supply.”
