God said to Moses, “I AM…WHO I AM” ~ Exodus 3:14
No other explanation is necessary. God does not need to be DEFENDED, EXPLAINED or PROVED. He just IS…and, wonderfully, marvelously, we are made in His Image! Therefore,…I AM. Am what? I AM Beauty, Talent, Favor, Unique, Noble, Worthy…and many more attributes that come directly from our Father Himself! This is what has been missing from the hearts and minds of women and young girls all over the world; the knowledge of how Powerful and Valuable that they are created to be.
Ladies, I have a question: do you know who you are? Or are you walking around hiding, imitating celebrity ideals, and wearing a mask, disillusioned by the air-brushed images that society tells us is the image of ‘perfection’?
Here’s a secret: You are ALREADY PERFECT!
The Word for WOMAN in Hebrew, is often Mistranslated. God originally said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.
I will make an __EZER KNEGDO__ suitable for him.”(Genesis 2:18) The scholars scratched their heads when it came to translating that word into English. There was no direct translation. Here is what they came up with: “Helpmeet” (and then they high fived each other for their brilliant man-term)…but…guys, come on, Helpmeet? It’s a word I never could really get INTO. I always thought it sounded something like ‘Hamburger Helper’ mixed with “SwapMeet”. Sounds kind of ‘Bargain Basement’ to me. Let’s just be honest: that word is definitely neither sexy nor powerful whatsoever, right? I mean, who goes around saying, ‘I want to be a ‘Helpmeet” when I grow up?’
But when you research the original words TRUE Meaning:
EZER means: “Lifesaver in Times of Desperate Needs”
KNEGDO means: “Correlating to, Face To Face Compatible, Equal”
So God really said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a lifesaver, correlating to, face to face compatible in times of desperate need- equal for him.” The only other time the name EZER was used in the bible, was when it referred to God Himself!
Do you yet see? You are the Backbone, The lifesaving, desperately needed companion that God knew was necessary to complete a man! You are a divinely inspired creation that holds together families, and heals communities. With one touch, glance and word, you can sooth tears, and calm disputes, while preparing a meal and still handling business calls! Multi-Faceted, talented, and capable of such greatness…and it’s been there all the time.
Do you even know who you ARE? Do you even recognize the Power of a Woman who knows her Worth? The enemy does…which is why he fights so hard to keep you blinded to the reality of it.
We invite you to join B.L.O.G.’s “I AM” Movement…
Let’s RE-Define Beauty…From the Inside OUT! In preparation of the upcoming T-Shirt and Video Promotions, we are doing Natural Beauty SHOTS! Here’s how it works:
1) Take a pic of yourself with No makeup, no fancy hairdo, no jewelry. Your only cosmetic should be a beautiful bright smile. On a blank piece of paper, describe yourself in ONE WORD ONLY with “I AM…” In front.
2) Then make the picture Black and white (no Photoshop) and post to your Facebook page with a tag to BLOG Magazine’s Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/BLOGMAGAZINE.ORG, or send to Submit@blogmagazine.org
3) Describe in your post WHY you chose the word that you did, in 200 words or less.
4) Tag your friends, and family members, and invite them to join the “Natural Beauty” Movement as well!
..It’s that simple: Let’s show our daughters, sisters, and nieces that WE can be BEAUTIFUL just being OURSELVES!! In a day and age where 8 and 9 year old’s desire to have diets and plastic surgery, we need to be Pro-active in boosting the self-esteem of young girls everywhere! Let’s show them that True Beauty begins on the Inside, before you ever see it on the outside!
Other words can be used: I AM… PLAYFUL, BEAUTIFUL, LOVING, PATIENT, FUNNY, HEADSTRONG, …etc. But it must only be One Word!
I was chosen to get it started, so (gasp) I stripped down, and wiped off everything. I was so nervous, but turns out, not only wasn’t it so bad, it was really rather Empowering!!

“I am DESTINED – destined for greatness, destined for success, destined for service. The glory of God is the most amazing accessory I wear – it’s because of HIM that I shine everyday “Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes.
