A Reminder of What We Celebrate This Mother’s Day

What is a Mother’s love?
Its something you can not measure or put a price tag on. It’s something that one really never fully understands until they become one. A mother develops a bond with her child before her child is even born, just as our Father in heaven knows every detail of the child and loves him or she too, so does a mother. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”~Jeremiah 1:5
A mother will love her child in any given situation, she will love you when you’re joyful, and love you past your pain. When the trials and tribulations of the world seem to be crashing down on you, a true mother, simply saying “Baby, it’s going to be alright” is enough to allow you to let all of that stress go. A mother’s love is unconditional; she will love you in good times and bad…usually, whether you’re wrong or right.
A mother will also give you that tough love that you need to help you get yourself together when you get out of line. It’s the ‘look’ that she gives you, that let you know that if you don’t straighten up, there is more to come…it’s her silent warning! A mother’s love is the most precious gift to a child, she will help you grow; teach you the way in which you should go, and be there to catch you when and if you fall.
So this upcoming Mother’s Day; make your mother feel special, thank her for all that she has done for you and how much she means to you. Most of all, Thank God for giving you a parent that helped to guide you, direct you and help to mold you into the beautiful woman or man you turned out to be, and pray that you will set the example for generations to follow.
With Grace,
