With effortless beauty, charm and movement
A quiet strength emblazoned on my face
In excellence, yet seeking improvement
Woman, I AM…a powerful movement.
I AM Determined, you may say ‘resolute’
Focused on erasing sins of souls past
Through bittersweet loins, pleasure and pain both shoot
Bringing forth generations to outlast
Woman, I AM…a force to withstand.
I AM Worthy, of all that’s bestowed me thoroughly sanctified, washed clean,
made whole by the merciful breath of God,
redeemed in His image, taken shape and molded
Woman, I AM…to the depths of my soul.
I AM lady, Not seeking attention Knowledgeable of my hidden treasure
Of my accomplishments, I don’t mention
My life speaks for itself in good measure
WOMAN, I AM…not just for your pleasure.
More than Phenomenal, because It’s not just the span of my hips Or the stride of my step
But it’s the depth of my mind And the scale of my depth…
With value, courage, and careful persistence
Seeking His will for my life with an un-ending consistence
and watch over my household with help of Omniscience
With wisdom instructing my children The Way
And in time as I begin to grow old and grey,
The foundation is laid…of a strong legacy
Worth more than pearls, rubies, diamonds, and platinum gold
BECAUSE I AM WOMAN…and will never faint nor fold
Woman… I…AM… to the core of my soul.
